Shropshire Tourism Grants
The Shropshire Tourism Grant scheme is administered by Shropshire Council through funding from Advantage West Midlands. These grants are available to tourism-related businesses within Shropshire. Aims of this grant scheme:
• Improve the sustainability of the tourism industry in Shropshire
• Raise the quality of facilities
• Improve the performance of tourism businesses
The intention of the grant scheme is to encourage visitors to stay longer, return more often and thereby support the local economy and environment.
Is your Business eligible?
The scheme offers capital and revenue grants to tourism businesses that have been trading for more than a year, are within the eligible Rural Regeneration Zone (RRZ) area and employ fewer than 250 staff.
Start-up businesses may be considered, but only if they fill gaps in the range of visitor facilities available in the area.
The intention of the grant scheme is to encourage visitors to stay longer, return more often and thereby support the local economy and environment.
