Competitiveness through Collaboration (C2C) aims to create a network for the environmental technology sector to exploit and develop new markets, facilitate more effective supply chains and encourage collaboration between businesses and with HEIs. It will aim to raise awareness of the business support available via a trusted source which will result in increased take up by local businesses.
Two new posts have been created in order to deliver the project:
Project Manager
Shropshire Council are seeking a motivated, experienced Project Manager to manage a new business networking programme across Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin, Herefordshire and Worcestershire to encourage businesses in the Environmental Technology sector to collaborate and improve competitiveness.
Strong interpersonal skills, along with the ability to meet tight deadlines are essential for this post. You will need to develop and manage business networks, facilitate events, and focus key communications to ensure the businesses are aware of current opportunities.
The post will be employed by Shropshire Council on a two year fixed contract, covering the whole project area. The position will be based at offices in Ludlow, with hot desking opportunities in other areas.

Project Officer
Shropshire Council are seeking a proactive, experienced Project Officer to deliver a new programme across Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin, Herefordshire and Worcestershire to encourage businesses in the Environmental Technology sector to collaborate and improve competitiveness.
Strong interpersonal and organisational skills, along with the ability to meet tight deadlines are crucial in this role. A key component in this post will be in assisting the Project Manager to meet the required outputs of the programme.
The post will be employed by Shropshire Council on a two year fixed contract, but will cover the whole project area. The position will be based at offices in Ludlow, with hot desking opportunities in other areas.
